The Gardenia flower first got my attention when legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday began sporting the magnificent flower in her hair styles. I was intrigued by the magnificent beauty of the flower, and of course the super talented singer. The two of them seemed to pair together so well.
It has always been one of my favorite floral fragrances, and I was surrounded by them growing up, and appreciate them even more today. I see gardenias as very seductive and unapologetic, in both their appearance and fragrance.
Experience the fragrant accords of tropical white florals in full bloom with my "Louisiana Gardenia" Candle. This dreamy scent begins with top notes of gardenia and lemon peel as it gives way to a blossoming heart of tuberose, jasmine, and green florals. A soft powdery finish gives depth to this earthy floral.
